Could you clarify? Are you drinking and writing. Or something else.
I wish you well on the novel. I actually stopped writing my novel when someone dear to me said my first complete novel sucked. I realized the second one must suck, too, and that I don't know enough about writing. So I'm learning more. Especially about character. I feel like I just started writing again.
On the other hand, I was reading bits of an old story and I thought, gee this is brilliant, which makes no sense, I know. Same old, same old here.

I just mean that there used to be a commercial that said "we will serve no wine before its time," and my novel is supposed to be almost done by now, but since it needs more work -- still! -- it isn't going to be!
