I actually stopped writing my novel when someone dear to me said my first complete novel sucked. I realized the second one must suck, too, and that I don't know enough about writing. So I'm learning more. Especially about character. I feel like I just started writing again.<BR/><BR/>On the other hand, I was reading bits of an old story and I thought, gee this is brilliant, which makes no sense, I know.
